Another String of Lies
Why is it that the White House does not believe there is a real record of what he has said in the past?

owdy Folks,
Another day for Obama on the stump and another string of lies. I don't even want to get into the handpicked crowds at his town halls except for exploiting a little 13 year old girl to ask a question about why there were protesters outside ( who couldn't get in) holding signs saying mean things about his health care plan. Well surprise surprise, the Boston Globe reports that she is the daughter of a woman leading "Woman for Obama" in Massachusetts, a big contributor and friend of the Great One. Now there is someone you can trust to look out for you. He didn't even answer her question, but launched into the absurdity of death panels. Read on dear reader, read on.
Why is it that the White House does not believe there is a real record of what he has said in the past, and not so recent past. Pretty soon it will be too disingenuous to not call him a liar. Take this Quote from last April excerpt from the NY Times today as an example:.
April 29 (Bloomberg): President Barack Obama said his grandmother’s hip-replacement surgery during the final weeks of her life made him wonder whether expensive procedures for the terminally ill reflect a “sustainable model” for health care.
The president's grandmother had a hip replaced after she was diagnosed with cancer. AFTER!
Today in New York Times, Obama said in the April 14 interview, “you just get into some very difficult moral issues” when considering whether “to give my grandmother, or everybody else’s aging grandparents or parents, a hip replacement when they’re terminally ill."
Today it was modified to “That’s where I think you just get into some very difficult moral issues……The chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health- care bill out here.”
Note that this is not just the terminally ill, now it’s the “chronically” ill. Chronic illness in the USA accounts for about 80% of the $2 trillion spent annually on healthcare, much of which is preventable and reversible. And yes, chronic illness kills as well.
He went on to discuss "ruthless pragmatism." This has to do with the Disability Adjusted Life Expectancy quotient followed by a couple of the czars. I think it is promoted by Ezekiel Emanuel. You might know him as the guy who believes if you have a child that is disabled, and cannot become a full functioning member of society then he or she should not receive any healthcare benefits. So yes, this would be both ruthless and pragmatic. Only we are willing to spend more on healthcare because we care for the young and the elderly.
I don't think we want these people running anything let alone our health care system.
Wake Up America
