Howdy Folks,
I have been remiss in identifying that our little group of survivors trying to survive an insane government has been growing. We have gained three and lost one, my brother. Poor soul, he has always been drinking the Kool-Aid and being from California I suppose it was too hard on him to believe in the Constitution rather than the change being offered up. He started to really unravel when Sarah P came on the scene, and was on heart medicine by the time Beck and Michelle Bachman (Congresswomen Minn.) hit the airwaves. For him and others, Obama continues cult like, the “One.” The One who hasn’t yet been given a fair chance to do his great works. The One who will lift us out of the poverty that W put us in with his awful wars, bailouts and spending.
Like most liberals, there can be no rational debates they can’t argue with facts. In fact, that is the problem. When you ask a liberal to defend any side of their argument, they simply do not want to talk about it. After that awful Bush, we just need to believe in change. While I am not even remotely a fan of Bush or his administration, I never felt that he didn't believe in America or was corrupt. He just wasn't very smart and certainly lost what it means to be a conservative American, or even remembered what the elephants once believed in.
So for the newcomers, David, Clarke and John, we welcome you, your opinions and your commitment to America independent of your politics. It bears repeating what our goals are in that no man is an island unto himself. It is increasingly hard to find the truth, or at least an informed factual opinion of what we think is going on out there, so we need all the diversity of opinions, people, Democrats, Republicans and Independents who will take charge of their own lives, and stand up as Americans, and yes make money off the insanity going on.
Without apology, we believe in our Republic, the Constitution and a Bill of Federalism, which supports what has made us a great country. We are about “Watching the Hand”, just not the one we are being shown. We are about connecting the dots and following the money because as best we can tell that’s what politics is about. We welcome all who choose to participate in our group.
With Barry off to Japan, China and Korea, it is certainly an opportune time to be out of town. I am not sure Ol' Joe is up to the task of fielding the hot potatoes this week. In fact, I have not seen him anywhere except on Saturday Night Live. Let's see, right after what I thought was a nice speech regarding the fallen at Ft. Hood, there was a dust up over the hot LZ caused by his "shout out" in Texas and refusing to acknowledge that this guy Hassan is equivalent to a suicide bomber and a terrorist. Then of course, he couldn't leave town without throwing Attorney General Holder under the bus (good) with what may be a move whose stupidity may exceed anything W's imagination could dream up; bringing 5 terrorists to NY for trial in our criminal court system.
My prediction is that this may be Barry’s defining moment of his one term presidency. This will not go well for us as a nation, nor will it end well. Lastly, we saw firsthand the hypocrisy of the meeting with college students in Shang Hai, which highlighted the openness of our society and lack of censorship (for now) that we enjoy. The Chinese promptly censored the meeting and did not allowed it to be on the Internet in China. The real hypocrisy I speak of is in the Barry Administration’s transparency that we have enjoyed and the White House attacks on tea parties, Fox news, enemies list in the WH, Anita Dunn's and Ploof's control of the press, net neutrality, and oh yes Mark Lloyd over at the FCC trying to make the Fairness Doctrine even more extreme with the end game to destroy talk radio.
By the way, did you catch the bow to the emperor? Having spent a lot of time in Japan, this was sure an awkward moment. It was so awkward that the Japanese press refused to publish the picture. So goes the apology tour and the campaign continues with a new first; the first Black Pan Asian President to visit Japan and China. So why didn't he drop by Indonesia and say hi to the relatives?
Speaking about hypocrisy, read that the Obama Times, sold under the banner of the NYT, is about to fold their tent. They are broke, and although Barry said he will entertain a bailout of the newspapers in order not to lose their slobbering adulation of him and his achievements, they are bitching about the high taxes they pay in New York. So they are looking for a new home. For sure it isn’t going to be New Jersey, Connecticut or Massachusetts unless they are given a forever tax holiday for the privilege of having a bankrupt liberal newspaper with a great book section in the back yard of a bankrupt state.
I am just getting my hands on the first actions coming out of the US Prevention Services Task Force set up in the middle of the night in the stimulus bill to ration health care. It is this august committee's findings that women just don't need those pesky mammograms any more. They are starting too young at age 40 hoping for early detection, and going entirely too often in once a year. Since they "set the standards" for health care, and will oversee Medicare and Medicaid, this is a sign of things to come. Contrary to the American Cancer society recommendations to women and proof actually showing that early detection saves lives and, the new standard is to be over age 50 and only every two years--of course this is for "public" health care and is their recommendation to be followed. And you didn't think we were going to have rationing.

I am so excited that the market continues to exhibit helium like tendencies. The trailing stops are working out just fine, and if they trigger, so be it. Gold is still my favorite and is the only stock I do not cover with a stop since I look at it as insurance. NY spot close was at $1,140.80, up a mere$ 21.30 in London. As we speak it is down a bit to $1,134.50, down $6.30. If you are a follower of this newsletter, you should be very happy about now as we have been pushing buying gold and other hard assets since gold was at $840.00. For the record, I have also been in it since it was $250; bought more in the $400’s and bought more at $840 to $900.
Okay, too much fun for one evening.
