4. Include a personal letter, click here and here for two downloadable MSWord (.doc) examples that can be edited and personalised.

5. Optional: put a Distressed Patriot stamp on the Bill of Federalism and on the envelope next to the paid postage stamp.

6. Joins us by registering your email so that you can be contacted to join likeminded state citizens when there are rallies at your State Capital or representatives’ offices in support of the Bill of Federalism.

Why Should You Support This Initiative?

At the close of the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 1787, Benjamin Franklin was asked, "What kind of government have you given us, Dr. Franklin?" He replied: "A republic, if you can keep it."

In fact, the United States of America is the oldest existing constitutional republic in the world. America’s founders drafted the U.S. Constitution as the foundation upon which to build a nation unlike any in the world. The Constitution is the cornerstone to what is the greatest country in the world; one that embraced capitalism and time and again defeated fascism, Nazism, communism, dictatorships and socialism leaving them on the trash heap of history. Our founders gave us more than a democracy, which is rule of the majority; they bequeathed to us the Rule of Law to insure against the tyranny of the majority.

Distressed Patriots for America believes, as do innumerable constitutional scholars and lawyers across America, that the constant encroachments of the federal government on the sovereignty of individuals and states, abetted by liberal judges at all levels of the judicial systems, especially at the Supreme Court, have eroded the foundation of America. America, as we know it, is nearing collapse.

America is at an historic crossroad with an administration, Congress and judicial system that is liberal, imperial, socialistic, nationalizing corporate America, trampling on individual and state sovereignty and amassing such national debt as to financially enslave future generations.

Our constitutional republic is on the precipice of being abandoned by a liberal socialist leaning government that is supported and influenced by wealthy special interest, like George Soros, and the owners of media properties, such as the NY Times and MSNBC that produce biased news (propaganda) to shape public perception of political and social issues.
